There’s plenty going on in Guildford this weekend so here’s our guide to some of the events that are on.
Ice hockey and football are taking place at Guildford Spectrum on Saturday.
Guildford City FC, languishing near the bottom of the league take on Molesey City so need all the support they can get.
Guildford Flames take to the ice against Telford at Guildford Spectrum. The action on the ice starts at 6pm and tickets can be bought in advance from www.guildfordflames.com
It’s Burns Night on Sunday and Guildford Chantries Rotary Club are celebrating with a traditional Burns Supper and Ceilidh for all haggis fans out there as well as raising funds for the Halow Trust and RSCH Charitable Trust. Music will be provided by traditional Scottish band Kirk Sessions.

It’s also Burns Night at The Boileroom with poetry, spoken word and folk music. There’s a free dram of whisky on arrival and tickets cost £6 from www.theboileroom.net
At The Boileroom on Saturday is Hannah Lou Clark and her new band Quatres Femmes with support from Bad Grammmar and The Venus Lyx. Tickets are £5 from www.theboileroom.net
There are two plays on at the Yvonne Arnaud on Saturday.
In the Mill Studio is A Girl with a Book, the story of a Guardian reader searching for the background to a story about a brave young woman’s fight for girls’ education in Pakistan. Tickets cost £13
On the Main Stage is Alan Ayckbourn’s Roundelay, five short plays with shared characters and over-lapping narratives but can be performed in any order. Tickets cost £24.50 to £29.50.

Finally at G Live is Anton & Erin: That’s Entertainment. Sensational choreography, sassy tunes and sparkly costumes as Anton du Beke and Erin Boag dance the night away. Music is performed by the 25-piece London Concert Orchestra with vocals by Lance Ellington.
